To unwind after a very stressful day you need to take a few moments to relax in silence. Turn off the TV and radio. Unplug the phone if necessary. Sit or lay down. Get comfortable and close your eyes. Play soothing music in the background if you desire. Inhale and exhale very slowly. Repeat a word or phrase such as "peace", "tranquility", or "serenity". Do this for at least 5 minutes.
